How to learn a language you used to speak when you were a little kid but can only understand a few words now?
I used to frequently speak a different language (other than english) when I was a kid. Then I started going to school and had to learn more english and now I forgot how to speak the other language . Now I know english really well now [ I am not using grammar in this question
] but I forgot the other language I used to speak all the time.
I understand the language only a little bit , but when I speak to myself the words I know… I get the Accent wrong.
The main thing I am trying to say is how can I learn the language again (without taking any classes/ I just want to learn it myself from listening to stuff online, the music at home, or listening to my parents speak. etc.) dadaists
Thank You so much for your help
and I really need to know because this summer I am going to stay there for 2 months and I need to speak to my family and other people not just listen to them! lol
Thank You guys for all your help I really need it!!!!!!
My way to learn and understand different languages is just by listening music. As more as you listen the easier it becomes to understand. Words you don’t understand after all you can look up in a dictionary.
Search for a chat box in that language. Make the language a part of your life.
You were saying you spoke that language when you were younger. So It will be a little difficult at the beginning but if you hear it a lot I think it will be easy for you to learn again.
On the internet you can find some basic stuff of that language. You can use that to practice some more.
