Can you learn a new language every year and be fluent?
I have a friend who came from Indonesia last year, not knowing a word of English and is fluent in it now.
I want to learn Mandarin. I can spend everyday learning it for about 2 hours a day learning it. Do you think I’ll get far in a year?
Your friend learned from necessity… you’re learning for enjoyment. It’s going to be harder for you to learn it… it’s possible, but you’re going to dedicate a lot of effort towards it.
