why do you think the senate voted the bill down?
people always speak spanish to me because they think i look hispanic. the reason i feel this way is cuz so we have a common language. people should assimilate to the US not the other way around. we need to stop catering to hispanics mostly.
English IS the official language. If the immigrants don’t like it… they can go back to their own country and speak their native tongue all they want.
Do you have any idea how much money we spend accommodating people who don’t want to read/Speak English? It’s ABSURD.
If we keep catering to them, there will be no reason to learn the native language of this country… I say we just stop.
I say let them pay for their own translators… then they’ll want to assimilate or leave – no doubt about it.
