Yamasa institute, is it worth it for absolute beginners?
Hi, i’ve really got my heart set on going to the Yamasa institute to learn Japanese, however i hear that few people Speak English and all the lessons are taught in Japanese. Is this how it works for beginner classes as well, even when the students know no Japanese?
What i’m most concerned about is SOCIAL LIFE! Is it going to be tough to make friends if you’ve had little/no experience with conversational Japanese?
It’s quite daring to go knowing nothing, but after researching it seems like the best place i could go! So could anyone who’s gone to Yamasa, and even possibly went knowing no Japanese themselves, tell me about their experiences and what they think i should do
