How can I become an English as a Second Language Teacher?
I have been volunteering at our local adult learning center working with people who are here from another country and are trying to Learn English, and I LOVE IT! I obviously would do it for free because I am.However I would love to know what kind of education you have to have to get a job doing this & actually get paid to do it.I have heard that you know you have found your true calling in life when you find something that you love to do so much that you would do it for free,and I think this may be it for me. These people are so happy to be in America, it is so refreshing.Please help or give me some websites that I could go to, to get more information about this.

Usually a degree with a CELTA (Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults) or equivalent.
You should either be a native speaker or have a high level of English language skill.
