Paid online courses are usually more intense, with many of these courses being offered by community colleges or other educational institutions. However, some students may be able to earn some sort of college credit or a certificate by completing these courses. These classes may require small projects be completed online or consist of tests and final exams in order to pass. Other fee charging courses may offer online work accompanied by a CD or DVD that is mailed to people who register for the class.
